Travel about an hour south of Baku to Gobustan, a UNESCO World Heritage site with thousands of prehistoric rock carvings, then continue to the nearby mud volcanoes, where cold mud bubbles up from the ground.
On the way back we can stop at Bibi-Heybat Mosque.

How the day goes
- 09:30 Pickup from your Baku hotel; drive about 1 hour to Gobustan (60 km).
- 10:30 Gobustan Rock Art Reserve: short museum visit and a walk among the carved boulders (about 1.5 hours).
- 12:15 Drive 15–20 minutes to the mud volcanoes and see the bubbling craters (about 1 hour).
- 13:30 Lunch on the way back.
- 14:45 Optional stop at Bibi-Heybat Mosque.
- 15:30 Drop-off at your hotel.

Good to know
Approximate entry prices per person, paid on site: museum and reserve about 15 AZN, mud volcano area about 5 AZN.
Wear closed shoes, as the mud area can be dusty or muddy. Mornings are cooler and quieter.

Is the price per person?
No. Prices are for your whole private group of 1–4 guests, not per person. For 5 or more guests we arrange a larger vehicle and send you a quote.
Is hotel pickup included?
Yes. We pick you up and drop you off at your hotel or another address in Baku at no extra cost.
Are entrance tickets included?
No. Guests pay entrance tickets directly at each site. Approximate costs are listed on every tour page.
Can we change the route?
Yes. It is your private day: tell us what you would like to add, skip or swap and we adjust the plan.
Do I pay when I send the booking form?
No. The form only sends us your request. We confirm availability, pickup time and the price with you on WhatsApp.
What should we bring?
Comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket, sun protection and some cash in AZN for tickets and snacks.
